Matt, Savannah, Natalie, Al and Willie are soaking up the rays in Hawaii on the first stop of TODAY's Great American Adventure series.

The show's broadcasting early Monday morning from Honolulu's historic Royal Hawaiian hotel, a landmark in Hawaii since it opened its doors in 1927.

To celebrate its rich history (and the TODAY's visit!), we're asking viewers trivia questions about the luxury resort on Twitter. Follow @TODAYshow for the latest.

Question #1: What television show kicked off its fifth season with a trip to the Royal Hawaiian?

Answer #1: Mad Men. The popular AMC show started its latest season far from the offices of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce – in Waikiki. When Don went for work to scout out the property (tough job!), he and Megan lounged on the beach, danced at a luau, and visited the hotel's bar. Well, that last one was just Don.

(Insider information: The duo stayed at the Kamehameha Suite on their retreat.)
