Between being a TODAY anchor and your other pursuits, you’re an incredibly busy man. In light of your packed schedule, what is your writing routine like?
Al: This is the first book I wrote entirely on the iPad. Kept it with me constantly so that I could write wherever and whenever I could. I really enjoy writing and always have. This made it so much easier to get it done.
What was the last book you were really excited about?
Al: I loved “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.” Talk about a terrific mashup of genres; historical fiction, sci-fi and horror!! It really would explain a lot.
